Fluke announces acquisition of LEM Instruments
European-based test and measurement company provides increased presence in world power quality market
Everett, WA, June 27, 2005 – Fluke Corporation, the world leader in handheld test and measurement tools, announced that it has acquired LEM Instruments, a division of LEM Group.
LEM Instruments is a leading European manufacturer of test and measurement equipment including analyzers and systems for power quality applications, earth/ground testers, insulation testers, low-resistance ohmmeters, clamp meters and clamp-on power meters. LEM Instruments is also the leading supplier of high precision current probes to the automotive market.

As part of Fluke’s reorganization of business operations after the acquisition of the LEM Instruments, we have decided to restructure sales operations in Canada as they relate to LEM Instruments. Under this restructuring, LEM’s Business Segments in Canada will be managed from Fluke's Canada headquarters in Mississauga, Ontario, effective immediately.
